While visiting, I walked inside this location near 6th Avenue in Brooklyn to order a lunch because where I live now does not have WingStop in the area. At first, I was going to order a chicken sandwich meal, but this location has no condiments, except ketchup. I wanted mayonnaise on the sandwich, and they did not have it. I switched and reduced my order to French fries only because I loved WingStops fresh not frozen fries. First, they do not have salt or pepper to season for individual tastes, and secondly (even worse), the fries were frozen. I did not even have to do more than bite down on the fry to know these were not from fresh potatoes. I admit I have not been current with WingStop’s food (as I mentioned in the sentence above, I do not live near a WingStop.). And, I discovered the WingStop company stopped using fresh potatoes about a year or so ago.
On Service, I stood at the counter ready to order. There were workers in the kitchen who were steadily doing their work. They saw me standing. After waiting with no recognition I was there, I moved to a bench where the kitchen workers could still see me, but there was not advancement toward the cash register. After a while longer, a cashier came out and took my order.
I will not only be marking this WingStop off my list of “go to” places. I will be marking all WingStops off my list.
In short, Food … disappointing.
Service … less than mediocre
