Absolutely ridiculous experience at this Subway. I placed a mobile order and sent my husband to pick it up because I’m pregnant and wasn’t feeling well enough to go myself. He had the order confirmation, the name on the order, and the receipt, yet the staff still refused to give him the food because he didn’t have my ID… for a sandwich.
Since when do you need someone’s government identification to pick up a $10 sandwich? Do you think people are committing organized crime over a tuna sub? The whole purpose of mobile ordering is convenience, and clearly the staff here either don’t understand how it works or just decided to make things difficult for no reason.
Instead of being helpful, they gave my husband a hard time and acted like he was trying to steal food that was already paid for. Meanwhile I’m at home pregnant waiting for food that I already purchased.
If you’re going to offer mobile ordering, maybe train your employees on how pickup actually works because this was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Definitely ruined my mood and I won’t be coming back to this location.
