Every morning I stop by Subway before classes and eat. The two female workers are some of the nicest people and truly do put forth effort to make good subs for the campus. However, they're short staffed and usually work through long lines of students so time management was hard. As the line was swamped and the two workers wanted to ensure everyone received their food a timer went off for bread rolls. It rang for approximately two minutes. Only two minutes until the general manager came in an extremely unfriendly even dehumanizing tone and aggressively yelled at the workers to fix this problem. I'm completely okay with constructive criticism, but creating toxicity in the workplace is not okay with me. I'm extremely unsatisfied with how this situation was handled especially since the insult was provoked in front of the students leaving embarrassment for the workers. I hope they receive the respect they deserve more frequently.
