  Joseph was awesome, I came in to get my battery checked because of electronic issues. He answered all of my questions and went above and beyond! I went to NAPA down the street before and they seemed annoyed that I needed my battery checked so I left and came to Advance, I walked in asked for my battery checked, he was already ready and eager to help. I will be coming, back give him a raise!

  Very disappointed. I stopped in around 1:40 PM on Sunday, July 19 to have my battery and starter tested. I wasn’t greeted when I approached the register. The employee looked visibly annoyed that I had walked in. I politely asked, “Do you mind if I get my battery and starter tested?” I was met with a loud, exasperated sigh and a simple response: “Not right now.” There was no explanation, no apology, and no indication of when someone might be available. The employee simply stared at me. I responded, “No worries, I can come back,” but again, there was no response. I completely understand that stores get busy and employees have a lot on their plates. However, basic customer service goes a long way. A simple explanation such as, “We’re tied up right now, but if you come back in 30 minutes we’d be happy to help,” would have made all the difference. Unfortunately, this interaction left me feeling unwelcome, and I left without the service I came in for, and I will never be returning to this store again.

  Sign on the door says they are open until 9pm. Try to enter the store for a much needed part at 8:55 and the doors are locked. The employee just shrugged his shoulders when I pointed at my watch... If you're going to advertise as being open until 9 then be open for business until 9...
