I had an incredibly frustrating experience here today. There’s a buy-one-get-one footlong promotion, and I carefully checked the app to see which stores were participating. This store was listed as a participant and was the closest to me, so I placed my order via the app.
When I arrived, I got an email saying my order was canceled. I went inside to speak with the manager, but she was completely uncooperative. She kept repeating that she needed to remove the promotion from the app, but did nothing to help. Even now, as I write this, the app still shows them as a participating location. I asked if they could still honor my order since it was placed while the promotion was active, but she refused, saying there was nothing she could do. I asked her if there was a number or contact for corporate so I could escalate the issue, but she kept refusing, just telling me I should call her husband instead. I made it clear that I didn’t want to do that, I wanted to speak to corporate directly.
This was a complete waste of time and a total lack of accountability. This might be one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. If the manager there tried to explain themselves I would’ve had a better experience(or atleast a better understanding of the situation), but she was talking to me as if I was the one in the wrong. If the store is listed incorrectly, they need to take responsibility and correct it. I expect a proper resolution from corporate, as this was handled poorly at every step.
