This location legitimately needs some quality and training improvements. I have been here around ten times and each time was imperfect for various reasons, until my most recent trip, after which I will no longer be returning.
On Mondays, Subway does discounted meatball subs. The location also has an add-on for Pepperoni to any sandwich for $5. I ordered a meatball sub, and added on Pepperoni, and lo and behold, at checkout, I was charged for a full "Meatball Pepperoni" sub. I asked why the discount did not apply, and the woman who helped me shrugged sheepishly and said "adding pepperoni to the meatball sub makes it a meatball pepperoni sub, which has to be full price." I was half tempted to decline the sandwich, but just paid for it because I was in a rush and needed my lunch. Truly felt like a bait and scam that solidified my decision to not return.
Some of my other frustrations include:
- the freshness of the vegetables. most Subway locations I've visited have crisp fresh vegetables every day. about half of the time I visit this location, it seems like the vegetables are day-olds. wilting lettuce, limp spinach, etc. at 11 in the morning.
- flies in the restaurant. I'm not sure what the deal is, and I know no food location is going to be 100% free from flies. but it's repulsive to see multiple flies in the main prep area.
