Free parking, and good rooms, perfect choice for a visit New York
For those using the shuttle, please know each seat is $4 and they pick up at the super 8 and drop off at the Exxon. They do not take you back to the super 8. This hotel had everything we needed for our stay, and the male front desk agent was very kind and helpful. The water at the front desk was really helpful after a long walk! Free parking was 10/10. Beds super comfortable too.

If you’re looking for a place to visit Manhattan for the day, look no further. After years of traveling, this is by far one of the best places I’ve found. Real gated parking on-site, not just a drop-off area like many others. I’ll definitely be back!
I have never written a review before, but this experience was bad enough that I felt I had to.
My wife and I have been traveling up the East Coast and intentionally chose Best Western because we signed up for the rewards program and trusted the brand. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my opinion.
We arrived around 7:30 PM and asked if we could check in one day early. The front desk employee said a room was available but needed to speak with his manager about the price. After waiting 15–20 minutes, I was quoted around $1,100 for three nights, even though Best Western’s own website was showing the room for $159 per night.
I showed him the online rate, but the price kept changing after multiple conversations with management. I eventually called Best Western customer service myself. The representative confirmed the $159 rate was showing online, but instead of helping resolve the situation, the conversation became heated and the representative actually yelled at me. The hotel employee at the desk was visibly uncomfortable with the situation.
After hours of waiting, conflicting prices, and repeated trips to speak with management, we were eventually offered the option to stay one night for the advertised $159 rate and figure out the rest later. However, I was then told I would be charged over $900 and reimbursed afterward.
At that point, I had enough. We canceled the stay and found somewhere else to stay.
What should have been a simple request to check in one day early turned into hours of frustration, confusing pricing, and extremely poor customer service.
I strongly encourage Best Western management to review the customer service call and investigate what happened at this property. We chose Best Western repeatedly because we trusted the brand. After this experience, I will not be staying at a Best Western again.
This is the first hotel review I’ve ever written. Unfortunately, that says a lot about how disappointing this experience was.
I had a nasty fall in front of this hotel last week. Both of my knees were busted and I was alone. I hobbled into this hotel with low expectations, hoping I’d be able to at least get a bandaid and a cool place to rest while I caught my breath. The woman at the front desk ran to the back and brought a first aid kit, immediately helping me tend to my wounds. As we were sitting in the lobby, another two employees came by. Within 5 minutes my knees were cleaned, wrapped, and ready. The man even offered to call me an uber to get back home, insisting that he would not allow me to leave by myself in the condition I was in. I ended up getting picked up by my mother with a bag full of extra medical supplies along with an orange juice, chips, and a chocolate bar! I am forever grateful to the employees here for taking care of me and making me feel so safe.
