  I am not at all happy with ALLSTATE and I am a 17 yr client looking for a new company. I have been locked out of my online account and can’t get the password reset because they only want to verify me through an email that I no longer have, I received a letter in the mail they were taking my lousey $5 email discount away because of this. I called the 800 number and they were unable to add my new email so my account could be verified and password changed. Told me to contact my agent. Called my agent and they couldn’t understand why the 800 number couldn’t help me do it and they said they couldn’t help me either. They had to call another department who finally got me straightened out. They used to be a good company but no more. They raise my rates every 6 months. I went from $87 a mth to $217 for one car, one driver, no claims and no tickets for decades. The car is a pleasure car, 2012 with about $34,000 miles on it. I drive less than 100 miles a month. I have called them to find out why the increase and all I get is they got a rate increase. Well, that is just not right for a senior that hardly uses her car and puts in no claims. I can and will do better. I’ve had enough….

  We have been with Michael and Short Family Agency for the past 15 years for all our insurance needs. What an outstanding agency and such good service. On two separate events over the span of ten years, we experienced damage to our car. Both times, Mike and his agency were so helpful and guided us through the process.   I've had Allstate for over 25+ yrs. For the past 23 yrs I've had all my insurance (Home, Auto etc) with the Short Family Agency in Long Valley NJ. Michael Short and his team operate with honesty, integrity with great customer service. They would only recommend what is best for me and my families needs. With that in mind, I need to call out Carlos Aviles Licensed Customer Advocate, Short Family Agency. Carlos is very responsive to my emails or calls. I've always received top notch counsel on my insurance needs as well as Carlos taking the time to help facilitate any process that I happen to need help with.
