  I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this UPS Store. I went in simply to mail a letter with documents to an address in upstate New York. I have lived in New York for 13 years and have used UPS services hundred times without any issues. At this location, I was suddenly asked to provide my ID just to mail a basic letter. I explained that I had left my wallet at home because I was in a rush before closing time, representative said I can’t mail letter without ID. I gave him my phone number so he can see my shipping histories, or offered my home address, but this was not enough, he insisted on ID. I have never experienced that or heard of it, I could understand if that would be a package, even post office doesn’t ask Id when I ship package to Europe. In anyways story doesn’t end here. I had to call home and ask someone send me picture of ID and he looked at my phone and picture received if that was really my ID. Another issue is I had to pay $72 for shipping because I wanted to letter be received next day, that is ok, but what is not ok I gave him $100 cash and he said they don’t take such big bills. So they don’t have $30 change? He asked if I can pay with card, I said I told you I forgot my wallet, he would not accept 100$, he asked if I have Apple Pay, I had to pay with Apple Pay He made me feel like I have no ID made expressions how come I don’t have credit card as well. To be honest I suggest for immigrants not to come to this store. What would people do who have no documentation? In NY UPS stores such attitude would never happen.People would not come. We have millions of undocumented people and everyone should have right to mail a documents. Message For UPS administration for this location First of all you are not police, even police or in hospital we don’t act like this when we treat or admit patients. At this point maybe you should Place on entrance doors sign “undocumented people can’t use your services! “ So only people with ID can come in this location!

  I needed something notarized and also had three children with me, right before lunchtime, so I was prepared for a challenging experience - especially when I walked in and saw 5 people in line ahead of me. The staff here are incredibly efficient and also so kind- I was utterly amazed at how quickly I was helped. Oftentimes when people are that quick, they are also not as personable or pleasant, but here they were both. I can't believe I had such an amazing experience at a UPS store.
