I am writing to recognize an exceptional customer service experience I received on June 12, 2026, at your FedEx Office location in East Brunswick, New Jersey (212 Route 18).
In a world where people are often quick to complain, I believe it is equally important to acknowledge and celebrate employees who consistently go above and beyond for their customers. The team at this location, particularly Assistant Store Manager Eric Davis and Lead Consultant Martina Miller, exemplified professionalism, empathy, teamwork, and genuine care.
I was under a great deal of stress trying to complete bridal shower invitations for my niece. The project was extremely time-sensitive, and after spending an entire week struggling with formatting issues between Canva and Avery templates, label sizing, margins, and printing specifications, I felt overwhelmed and discouraged.
My experience began with Martina Miller, who spoke with me over the phone before I arrived at the store. From the very first conversation, Martina demonstrated tremendous patience and empathy. She carefully listened to my concerns, helped me navigate my options, and even set aside materials in advance so everything would be ready when I arrived after work. Her kindness immediately put me at ease and made me feel like my project mattered.
When I arrived at the store, I was greeted warmly by several staff members. The welcoming atmosphere was noticeable from the moment I walked through the door.
Assistant Store Manager Eric Davis then took the time to sit down with me and truly understand my situation. Rather than rushing through the interaction, Eric listened attentively as I explained the challenges I had encountered with formatting, label templates, margins, and file conversions. He showed remarkable patience, transparency, and genuine concern for helping me succeed.
What impressed me most was that Eric didn’t simply point me in the right direction, he took ownership of the project. He worked through the uploaded labels I had already created, transferred and formatted them correctly, and ensured they would print beautifully. His technical expertise was outstanding, but even more impressive was his empathy and willingness to help. After a stressful week filled with obstacle after obstacle, Eric transformed what had been a frustrating experience into a successful one.
His follow through was exceptional. He listened, communicated clearly, and delivered exactly what he promised. Customer service of this caliber is rare and deserves recognition.
I also want to acknowledge the entire staff at this location. It was evident that everyone works well together and genuinely cares about providing excellent service. The positive team culture was visible throughout my visit.
As a small token of appreciation, I have pre-ordered lunch for the team for Monday, June 15, because I wanted them to know how much their efforts were appreciated. They earned it. I also believe Eric Davis deserves special recognition from FedEx leadership for his outstanding commitment to customer care and professionalism.
I will additionally be posting a positive Google review because experiences like this deserve to be shared.
In today’s world, where people are often put on blast for the smallest mistakes, I believe it is equally important to pay it forward by recognizing good human beings who make a positive difference in someone’s day. Eric, Martina, and the entire team did exactly that for me.
