  I had a very frustrating experience with Allstate home insurance. I paid my annual premium in full upfront, expecting no issues. About a month later, they apparently re-estimated the policy price—but I was never properly notified. Nearly 10 months later, I suddenly get hit with a balance due and a late fee. No clear communication, no warning, just a surprise charge out of nowhere. Customer service was not helpful and could not clearly explain when or how I was notified. This feels like poor billing transparency and unfair treatment of customers who pay in good faith. I would strongly recommend double-checking your policy and statements if you’re with Allstate—or consider other insurers with more reliable billing practices.

  Excellent service! In a world of all online enrollments, it was good to talk directly with 1 of the local agents to understand my requirements for both auto & home insurance. Purchase & maintenance became super easy with lots of discounts! Thanks AllState!!!

  I did actually get a much better rate with Allstate, Mr Philbin's office was very helpful as well.
