The receptionist was very welcoming, and the hotel's location is convenient. There's a life-size bison specimen. The atmosphere is great. The Tesla Supercharger station is right in the hotel parking lot, which is very convenient.

I called the number given on the website to make certain we could plug in our electric vehicle, not a Tesla. Charging here was very important since there are very few along this part of I-80. I was assured I could charge here (and for free), as part of the amenities they offer. "Of course!" She said. We had just stayed at a BW in Lincoln and charged up over night. I trusted her and made the reservation
NOPE! Luckily there's a charger 20 miles west in Potter.

Me and my family stayed for a night. Immediately, the vibes here felt off; everyone noticed and felt freaked out. The only incidents we had were the keycards failing to work for our room several times throughout the night, remember this as we went down to the front desk to get them changed about 3-4 times. We go to sleep. We are woken up to my grandparent looking frantic. Two grown men had been trying to get into our room, a room filled with young girls. They had even brought up the same staff member who had switched out our key numerous times for that room. This staff member kept telling my grandparent that no one was in this room and that no one had been registered in it, she kept trying to let them in and my grandparent said opposite, because if they opened the door they would fond three girls in different states of dress asleep. Despite them giving the keys for the said room and another. This is incredibly weird, I can't imagine if those two grown men came in while all of us were sleeping. I don't trust anyone and those men could've been anyone. Would not recommend coming here unless you want staff trying to let grown men into your childrens room, then trying to convince you that no one is in there despite the proof of our entrance and going in and out several times on security cameras. I am not going to be an easy target because of you people. Please always lock your doors. Their bags are still outside our room.

We have made a point to stay at this hotel for many years while on a annual trip out West as it was always a great stay. Unfortunately, the property has reached the "tired" stage. The property needs a major refresh. The rooms are old and rundown. We will probably find another place next year.
The pool and breakfast are still good, though. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and they were again this stay. I sure wish the property was still like it used to be.

After a 12-hour drive, this was a very disappointing way to end our day.
When we arrived, there was a sign at the front desk saying the attendant would return in five minutes. We waited well over ten minutes before anyone came to check us in.
The bigger issue was our room. We opened the door to find an ozone generator running inside, and the room had a very strong odor. The machine was clearly labeled that it should not be used in an occupied space. When we brought this to the front desk’s attention, we were told there were no other rooms available and that we should just open the windows.
We did not feel comfortable staying in a room that had an ozone generator running, so we left and found another hotel.
Getting a refund has been equally frustrating. The hotel told us to go through Hotels.com, but Hotels.com has been unable to reach the property because no one answers the phone.
Mistakes can happen, but renting a room with an ozone generator actively running in it—and then offering no reasonable solution—was unacceptable. I hope management addresses both the safety concern and their customer service so no one else has this experience.
