  Jeff at Advance Auto Parts was incredibly helpful. I’ve been working on an older Oldsmobile, and he took the time to listen, help me work through what I needed, and make sure I had the right parts instead of just rushing me through the purchase. It’s rare to get that level of patience and customer service anymore. Really appreciate the help

  Needed a new headlamp. The employee looked it up to check which one would work in my car, selected it from the shelf herself and rang me out. I got home and it wasn't right. I went back to get a different one and she told me she couldn't exchange it because it was opened. They made a mistake and wouldn't correct it. I went across the street to O'Reilly and they gave me the correct item and installed it for me on the spot. A huge difference in the way they help their guests.

  I visited the store to purchase a universal joint retaining clip for my truck. They suggested that I use from the help section. A pack of those universal retaining clips. I believe this would have been a catastrophic failure going down the highway. I then decided to get a complete universal joint, as it comes with the retaining clips that are properly used for my vehicle. The lady that was helping me was so distracted. She continued to ask multiple times every question and during, my statements or answers. She would distract herself again in either walk away or try to handle another issue. This was very frustrating on my side. And I came seconds of just dropping my product's on the counter and walking out. Advanced auto needs to learn to take care of the customer standing in front of them and then help everyone else next. I will not be back, it was that frustrating.
