I came to this FedEx location to have passport photos taken for my children, and unfortunately the customer service experience was very disappointing. When I told the employee that I needed passport pictures, she turned around and rolled her eyes. I jokingly said, “You weren’t ready for this, huh?” and she completely ignored me. She then said in front of other customers, “Yes, especially if I’m the only one here.” I work in customer service myself, so I completely understand what it’s like to be busy, overwhelmed, or short-staffed. However, customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience for requesting a service that the business offers.

I am extremely disappointed with FedEx’s handling of an international shipment from the United States to Mexico. The package contained two new cell phones with active AT&T service and assigned phone numbers, along with one older, used Apple Watch. All items were for personal and family use, not for resale. Before shipping the package, we called FedEx and also specifically asked employees at the local FedEx office whether there were any additional documents, customs requirements, restrictions, or procedures we needed to complete. We were clearly told that there were no additional requirements. Based on the information provided by FedEx, we paid for the shipment and trusted that it could be delivered. After the package was already being held at customs in Toluca, we were suddenly told that the recipient might need an RFC, enrollment in Mexico’s Importers Registry, a customs broker, or an importing company. None of this was explained before FedEx accepted the package and charged us. Instead of providing a clear solution or a reliable contact, we were left to search for customs brokers and importing companies ourselves. We have spent a great deal of time making calls, sending messages, and trying to find someone who can legally release the package. We are also at risk of storage charges, additional expenses, or having the shipment returned. I understand that FedEx does not control Mexican customs. However, FedEx does control the information its representatives provide before accepting and charging for a shipment. We specifically asked about additional requirements and were told there were none. Customers sending high-value electronics internationally should receive accurate and complete information before the package is accepted. I have also learned that other customers have reported similar experiences involving international shipments and customs, including not being informed in advance about customs requirements or charges and receiving very little assistance after their packages were held. This lack of transparency, accurate information, and support is unacceptable. I would not recommend using FedEx to ship cell phones or other high-value electronics to Mexico unless FedEx provides all customs requirements in writing before accepting the shipment.

Don’t expect them to help you with fedex deliveries. They couldn’t push me out the door fast enough when I needed help finding a package. Told me to call a phone number- what’s the point of a physical fedex store then? Terrible customer service.

The employee locked the door in my face tonight at 6:58. I showed her my phone showing 6:58 and she walked away. I am literally just there to drop off a package and she locked the door with me standing there. Horrible service. Look at the other reviews and this follows a pattern of terrible leadership at this location.
