The subway is very clean. My only problem is the worker/sandwich maker. If you have a jar that says tips, it is the customer’s decision if they choose to leave a tip if they feel that the service demands a tip that is our call. It is totally unnecessary and rude for the worker to look at USA. Please leave a tip before you even get your sandwich before you even pay the bill. There was an elderly couple in front of me who were there to pick up there didn’t first that someone or DoorDash for them however they didn’t understand delivery so they went to pick up the order themselves subway person charged them $30.42 for a foot-long turkey and cheese two cookies two potato chips and then requested a tip before the bag was even given to them. Someone had ordered their food for them perhaps they didn’t have any extra cash laying around before they can get their food from this worker, but between two of them, they came up with a tip and put it in the jar. It was sad and as the gentleman was leaving, he thought he had two cookies. He was also shorted one cookie, but did not want to go back to retrieve the other cookie. He was embarrassed. The moral of his story is stop asking people for tips. I know tips are important. I was a waitress for many years many moons ago, but I never stood there and waited for someone to tip me if you were expecting to get rich working at the subway on tips, perhaps you should go to a steakhouse or get another job so the one star is for the employee. The establishment is very clean and the food tastes very good.
