This is the closest UPS store to my home, but I will be going out of my way to go anywhere but here in the future. I had an employee basically chastise me for how many returns I had (this was after the self service kiosk didn’t work, and one of the other employees didn’t want to fix it at that moment), then be incredibly rude for the remainder of the transaction.
I have seen employees fight and curse at each other in front of customers. I have had other employees impose a limit on QR code scans despite that not being posted or disclosed anywhere.
Literally the WORST location. I’m not one to write reviews even when service is bad, but this is just an insanely poorly staffed and run location.
Trust me, drive to Wilmington or Jacksonville. You’ll save time and sanity.

I have used this store several times. There is a lovely lady named Ivy who works there, if she is not the manager, she should be. Extremely helpful to say the least. I had a return shipping issue this week and she was just as kind and gracious. Really meant a lot as I was already having a not so great day already. Keep on being YOU Miss Ivy!
I’ve been using this UPS Store in Surf City for a while, and the experience is always great. The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful, especially when I’m not totally sure what I’m doing with a shipment or return. They make everything quick and easy, even when it’s busy. I really appreciate how smooth and stress-free every visit is—it’s my go-to spot in the area.

Consistently miserable service. You are greeted when you open the door, not by any of the employees, but by a strong smell of pot smoke. Employees don’t make eye contact, and give the impression that I am inconveniencing them by being there. Most recently, had an Amazon return that was customer packed, and I didn’t have any tape at the house. The associate rudely refused the package unless I paid him $5 for a 6” long piece of packaging tape. I understand that they can’t pack the box for free, but to refuse the courtesy of 6” from the roll of tape sitting in front of me on the counter is just silly. Consistently atrocious service every single time…it must be nice to be the only option within 45 minutes for Amazon returns.

Today around 4:45pm I came into this ups store to return my amazon items. A young blonde lady was helping me(I should have got her name but I did not) of course they did get busy so she had to help the people behind me. While I was trying to find my shipping labels the young blonde took the next customer. This lady was returning something & when the blonde gave her a receipt the other lady said “I’ll stay here to make sure it gets packed and you don’t break it” the young lady helping me said “okay” and came back to helping me. The lady returning something kept on arguing with the associate trying to fight with her. The young blonde even said thank you have a good day & the young lady said “I wasn’t talking to you, but I’ll speak to your owner about you” I do want to say that the young blonde held herself together and was very professional. She did not argue with this lady but this lady kept trying to argue with the young blonde and I felt so bad. I don’t know who this young’s lady boss is but she is doing just fine and perfect! That other lady must’ve had a bad day! Keep up the good work and I hate you guys have to experience this. Thank you for helping me with my returns young lady you were amazing! Thank you UPS!
