I’m really disappointed with my recent experience because this has always been a place I enjoyed coming to. The staff, including one of the owners, have always been friendly, welcoming, and even knows me by name since I come in regularly. That’s why this situation was so surprising.
I placed an online order ahead of time, and when I arrived, I was told they didn’t see my order in the system. I showed that my card had been charged twice for the sandwich, but instead of trying to make it right, I was basically told "it should refund.”
What made it worse is that I was on my way to work and didn’t have time to go somewhere else, so I ended up wasting both my time and money. As someone who has spent a lot here over time coming in once or twice a week, i expected at least some effort to accommodate the situation after clearly seeing & acknowledging the charges.
I’ve always appreciated how kind everyone is here, but this experience made me feel like the actual customer isn’t truly valued, only the money in the moment. Being told I might get a refund at some point, without any real solution, was frustrating and disappointing.
Because of this, I unfortunately won’t be returning.
