  My family and I had to stay at this hotel for several weeks during the birth of my nephew at UMMC. We enjoyed the rooms and the breakfast each day. Our most favorite part was the staff. Everyone was so kind and accommodating and after 2 weeks of staying, we left feeling valued and like we made new friends! Location is not in a super busy area and the property is gated with guest card access only. Definitely felt safe. Rooms needed a little TLC but beds were comfortable and we really had no major issues. Would stay again and would recommend!

  The staff were helpful and the protected parking was a plus, but the property and rooms are poorly maintained for a 3-star hotel. Additionally, breakfast was missing on one of our two mornings.

  I am writing this review to warn others about the terrible customer service and discriminatory behavior we experienced at this hotel. Before booking, we verified online that this property accepts service animals. However, when we arrived to check in, the front desk completely changed the rules and told us that service animals were not allowed. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the staff chose to double down, aggressively telling us that we were wrong and claiming we "did not book the proper way." To make matters worse, I requested multiple times to speak with a manager to resolve the situation. Every request was flatly denied, and the staff told me it is "not hotel policy" to let guests or customers talk to management. We were treated like absolute trash during what should have been a standard check-in. The lack of professionalism, respect, and basic accountability from the staff was shocking. Refusing service animals, insulating management from guest complaints, and insulting the customers is completely unacceptable. We will never stay here again, and I strongly advise anyone looking for a respectful, accommodating place to stay to look elsewhere.
