This establishment, in particular, didn’t quite meet my expectations. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a young man, but the overall atmosphere and smell of the place were completely off. It quite literally smelled like a musty onion bowl, and I noticed that none of the employees handling the food were wearing gloves.
After the young man completed my order, instead of asking if I wanted a receipt, he simply walked away. I had to ask him for one myself. When I did, he ripped the receipt from the machine (which printed with no ink), handed it to me, said, “Am I tripping?” and then walked away again. In my opinion, it was incredibly unprofessional.
After receiving my food, another young man handed me my bag, but before doing so, he licked his index finger and then handed me my bag. DISGUSTING!
I then went back inside to add an additional item (fries) to my order, and I kid you not, another employee approached the counter, took my order, and within a minute, after I had turned my back, handed me fresh fries with no bag and no gloves.
I say all of this to say that whoever owns or manages this establishment may want to thoroughly train their employees before putting them behind the counter. Based on my experience, there seems to be a serious lack of professionalism, customer service, and proper food-handling practices.
