  Horrendous customer service. I went in this morning with a battery warranty claim on a battery that was produced in June 2024 and has a 3 year warranty. The associate that tried to help me did what he could (a pleasant older gentleman) but his knowledge of the system appeared limited. He called his Manager, Cameron, and explained what was happening as my receipt was not showing in the system, all they had showing was my prior battery purchase in 2022. He said "Tell him sorry, he bought it in 2022 and it's out of warranty" even though the manufactured date was clearly in 2024 (how did I buy a battery 2 years before it was made?). He told the associate to tell me that I need to produce a receipt or they can't help me. So I went through years of emails and found it! With that information they still couldn't find the transaction in the system and Cameron once again told me they could not give me a "free" battery for nothing (never mind that I bought a battery with a 3 year warranty). The mail was from them directly, and still wouldn't honor it. As a last ditch effort I asked the gentleman to pull up my profile and search by part number or battery type, and what do you know there was the transaction matching the one in my email. The response I got was "the system can be tricky", not we apologize for not even trying to help or utilizing alternative methods to try and help. Brutal service, and Cameron is a poor face of the company to try and retain customers in this competitive and crazy world. Take your money elsewhere, especially since there are 2 competitors within 3 blocks of this location.

  Every time I walk into the Lee’s Summit Advance Auto Parts store, I am immediately greeted and asked how they can help me. It is so nice and refreshing. They go above and beyond to help answer my questions and find solutions. They are very nice. I appreciate their commitment to helping their customers.

  I had a great experience at Advance Auto Parts thanks to Chris. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure I got the correct control arm for my Mustang. You can tell he actually cares about helping customers instead of just rushing people through. He took the time to answer my questions and made the whole experience smooth and stress free. Definitely one of the better customer service experiences I’ve had in a while.

  Cameron at Advance Auto Parts provided excellent service—he was super efficient, helpful, and very knowledgeable. He made the whole experience quick and easy. Highly recommend!!
