(Note: Contacted corporate customer service via form, but have not received a reply.) We placed an order online and when my husband went to pick it up, the woman working the counter (who later identified herself as the manager) told him that the food had already been given away. She said that the person who picked it up had give my husband's name. (There is a board on the wall with the names of the orders. They are listed first name, last initial...) She then had him spell his last name (which she clearly did not do with the person who stole our food) and she said to him, "If it's your order, you must know what's in it." He then started listing items, and that's when she said, "Well, I'm just not going to remake that much food." She then said that his wife (me!) must have picked it up, even though we only have one car and he was driving it. (I have not left home all evening.) After calling me, he went back inside to ask for the manager's number (at which point she finally identified herself as the manager.) He spoke conversationally to her and tried to sympathize with her, as it seemed like she was the only one working tonight. She told him that he was being "irate" and that if he did not leave, she was going to call 911 and held the door open for him. When he attempted to speak to her one more time, she told him that he was "blocking the door to her establishment." So, no food, we're out $50, and had the singular experience of being threatened with police action. We'll definitely be taking our business elsewhere, but someone very much needs to look into this because that is a level of insanely bad customer service the likes of which we've never experienced before, especially from someone who is supposedly a manager.
