  DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIRD PARTIES! Absolute nightmare getting a refund. ​I booked a stay here and had to cancel a full month in advance. I canceled directly with Best Western and received an official cancellation confirmation email with a cancellation number. I thought I was good to go. ​However, because the reservation was processed through a third-party booking agency (HotelPlanner / Lodging Support), my money was held hostage. I spent an entire month calling and emailing them to get my refund. They intentionally delayed acknowledging my cancellation until the day before my trip just so their system could hit me with a "late cancellation penalty" fee. ​When I sent their customer service team the literal proof of my on-time cancellation directly from Best Western, their agents (Cristian and Alvin) gave me the complete runaround. They lied, claimed the hotel had no record of the cancellation, and then suddenly tried to say the entire reservation was non-refundable—completely contradicting their own booking policies. ​They will ignore your proof and try to keep your money. I had to take all my documentation and file a formal chargeback dispute with my credit card company just to get my money back. Save yourself the massive headache and avoid their third-party booking portal at all costs. It is a complete scam.

  Everything is broken. Just stay at a different location. Best western is good just not this one

  The location is terrific if your there for Silver Dollar City. The breakfast is above average for free hotel food. The manager was very nice but constrained by the new owner apparently. The hot tub did not work any of the five days I was there and they couldn't get the pool up to temp either. I was promised a discount and that didn't happen either. As season pass holders I will be visiting quite a bit. It's a shame about this hotel as it is so close.
