  I was a resident at Helix in St. Louis Park and my check engine light came on a few days after the apartment complex caught fire. I was displaced and not sure when I would be able to even retrieve essentials from my unit. Moving from family members houses to hotels, the absolute LAST thing I wanted to worry about was potentially having my car break down or a huge mechanic bill. I mean it when I say I will never forget this act of kindness demonstrated by an employee there named Adrian. Adrian went out of his way to diagnose the issue-a $15 gas cap-and saved me the time and money of bringing it to a repair shop. During this extremely difficult time he took an immense load of stress off of my shoulders. Adrian went above and beyond not only solving the issue but displaying empathy and kindness during the entire interaction. Employees like this are one and a million. I also spoke with the Store Manager (Billy), who mirrored the same kindness and compassion as the employee he hired. I am no longer a resident at Helix and do not live in St. Louis Park, but will travel to this specific store over any other auto parts store for as long as I can. These guys are heroes. From the bottom of my heart, thank you ❤️🙏

  Billy and the team were fantastic - I had a complicated battery situation and they went the extra mile to help me out. Great spot!

  I got free advice to get a new battery before next winter, but its still ok for now, my battery charged for FREE, and a part searched for that they didn't have, which I knew would be a long shot. I enjoyed the three gentlemen who all helped me on a rainy Saturday afternoon. I felt a bit guilty I didn't wind up spending any money, but I had a great time chatting and laughing and getting advice. Good people who know their stuff.
