**MISSION LOG: OPERATION $20**
The mission began with only **$20** in my pocket.
Objective: survive lunch.
Two targets appeared on the horizon. McDonald's... or Subway.
Then it happened.
The glowing yellow and green lights cut through the air like a distress beacon. I stood at the entrance of Walmart, frozen. Time slowed. Every decision I'd ever made had led to this exact moment.
Abort?
Proceed?
Then the scent hit me.
Fresh bread.
There was no turning back.
This wasn't lunch anymore.
This was destiny.
I infiltrated the line, blending in with civilians, carefully advancing toward the counter. Every step brought me closer to the objective. Finally, I reached the front.
"The Meal of the Day," I said, trying not to reveal the adrenaline coursing through my veins.
The operative behind the counter looked at me and presented the choices.
"Your own cheese. Chips or cookie. Condiment."
This was the part they don't prepare you for.
The pressure.
The stakes.
The impossible decisions.
I locked in my loadout:
* Shredded cheese.
* Lettuce.
* Mayo.
I assembled the sandwich exactly as intelligence had instructed... with two tactical modifications.
No onions.
No tomatoes.
Mission parameters were clear.
The package was delivered alongside a bag of Lays and an ice-cold Pepsi.
Extraction successful.
The first bite?
Absolute victory.
As I enjoyed my reward, I took in the battlefield around me:
A sandwich crafted with care by a lesbian Subway operative.
A spectacular view.
And a family of four walking in... including a child named **Lucifer**.
I am not joking.
The kid's name was Lucifer.
Mission complete.
10/10. Would accept this assignment again.
**Thank you, Subway.**
