My girlfriend and I just got done eating here and it was one of worst experiences we have had out in a while. and typically I’m pretty patient & relaxed. There was two employees, one who was obviously new. It was taking a long time for him to put together the sandwiches, he had to read the cheat sheets ect. Normal life things. He was working the line alone until finally someone came up to help him a bit. (The whole time we’re in line the atmosphere of the restaurant is really loud, mainly due to a table in the corner occupied by two girls and a boy) after we finally get our sandwiches we sit down to eat because we’re waiting for laundry at the laundromat just down the road. We sat next to that corner table of people because it was busy & there wasn’t a lot of spots. The girl specifically in the turquoise shirt at the table was literally one of the loudest people I’ve ever encountered. Their conversations could be heard throughout the entire restaurant. The girls were quite literally screaming. The boy and I made eye contact and he even said to them “guys were in public come on” and you could see his red face. That’s how loud these people were being. well, low and behold, the line dies down and guess who comes to sit at the empty seat at their table? The New Guy. He sits down, whips out his phone and the table erupts with noise. Then they start flipping a bottle (yes the employee from subway and his friends) and the bottle gets smacked off the table and almost hits my girlfriend. Now we have a problem. He apologized while picking it up and I just stared at him. The two girls at the table were quite literally whispering ear to ear as we walked past them. Horrible experience. Slow food, loud noisy environment, my girlfriend almost getting hit by a water bottle that the employee is playing with.
What a joke of a business. I get being a teenager, but at the end of the day my mama taught me two rules these kids never heard.
1. Work hard.
2. Shut up.
