Pulled up to the shop 45 minutes before close and the guy just shakes his head no at us before even crossing the threshold. Come on man...
Bathrooms were unlocked and I thought, as a customer, it’s was ok to go in. When I came out, a heavy set African American female that works there cussed me out and said I that the bathrooms is not for the public or even customers. She was super rude and said I couldn’t read a sign (That was handwritten and barely legible). So if you want to go to a Subway with respectful staff and bathrooms that open to customers, this one is not it.

Unbearably slow, sandwich artist more interesting in gossiping with the person behind me

All was great
I visited this Subway location and had a pretty disappointing experience with cleanliness and food handling.
When we arrived, the store was locked and we had to wait for the employee to return. He came back smelling strongly of cigarette smoke and then immediately entered the store to serve us. He put on gloves but did not wash his hands before preparing food, which made the experience uncomfortable from a hygiene standpoint.
The smell lingered in the space while we were ordering, which made it hard to feel comfortable eating there. On top of that, my sister’s sandwich was poorly made with too much condiment, and she barely wanted to finish it.
Overall, the employee seemed disengaged, and the experience didn’t feel clean or welcoming. For a food service location, basic hygiene and presentation standards should be consistent, and that was not reflected during our visit.
I won’t be returning to this location.
