  I went into the Washington St. store today looking to borrow a tool. When I approached the store attendant and asked if they had the tool he said “no”. The tool was a common tool to check the compression of a cylinder. I then asked if they had one in stock and his reply was “no”. He never looked it up or offered to look it up. I walked down the tool isle and found one and brought it to the register he was at. His reply was “oh, you found one”. After ringing it up he asked how I wanted my receipt and I said “printed”. He handed me the receipt and I said “Thank You” and he said nothing. It seems that manners are something of the past and a thank you given to a patron is as well.
