After a disappointing experience at another Wingstop location, (8 Mile & Woodward) My husband and I decided to try the one on 12 Mile and Dequindre, and the difference in customer service was immediate.
We were greeted right away when we walked in, and our order was taken promptly. The staff was friendly and professional, and we felt acknowledged and taken care of throughout our visit.
The only downsides were that the wait time for our food was a bit longer than expected, and my wings were not cooked “well, well done” as I had requested. That was disappointing, but everything else about the service was solid.
Overall, the customer service at this location was much better than our previous experience, and we would consider returning, hopefully with better attention to special cooking requests next time.
The absolute worst service. Placed an online order waited 20 minutes in store for someone to greet me. The marquee board said my order was ready according to the 3 workers that were working my order was not ready. The young girl working on 5/30 at 9:55pm had an attitude and threw the salt shaker top on the floor telling her coworkers “don’t ask me no questions.” Will not return.

Worst service ever. Bunch of kids working and playing around. Walked in 10:04pm, they took my order, asked for my name and I paid. Went back in at 10:35pm and they said my order wasn’t ready and I also didn’t see my name on the screen. Went back in at 10:54pm and took a seat at one of the tables to wait. After about ten minutes, one of the cashiers asked me for my name and then looked at a bag on the rack and read off my order that was on the receipt. Then had the nerve to say, oh this yours. WTH! Look how long I’ve been waiting and how long that bag has been sitting there. Not even an apology but said oh his colleague didn’t put my name on it, just the initial C. I will not be going back. I know customer service is hard to find but common sense isn’t. Do better with hiring the right employees WingStop.
Nickolas and Cameron great staff! Food was fresh, place was clean and the staff was efficient and friendly! Great job!
