  They have an amazing staff. Every one of them makes you feel welcome. They have all the things you need and then, provide a list of things you can ask for if you forgot something, such as toothpaste. There is a free shuttle to downtown and the shuttle drivers are very nice as well. The breakfast is much better than average fare. The staff is also willing to guide you about things to do and with restaurant recommendations. Overall, I'll highly recommend this place.

  This hotel was disappointing on many levels. The staff were friendly and helpful, but many other aspects of the hotel were below our expectations. The public areas of the hotel particularly the corridors leading to the rooms were very shabby and poorly maintained. One of our rooms has beds on two levels but the upstairs level has a skylight with no shade that meant the sleeping area was too bright and hot on warm days and too noisy when it was raining, and we found that that bed was consequently unusable for sleeping. It also rendered the room's air conditioning far less effective than it should be. The free breakfast was very basic indeed and frankly insufficient. The hotel has a shuttle to downtown which functioned well, somewhat making up for the hotel's distant location from town. To be honest I can't understand why so many of this hotel's reviews don't mention so many of its obvious shortcomings. The Cambria hotel next door has much better rooms and an excellent restaurant, but book ahead.

  The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and tasty options. What made our stay truly exceptional was the outstanding hospitality. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our visit enjoyable. We would like to express our special thanks to Deb Kresnak, Director of Sales, for her exceptional support in organizing our stay and helping arrange our group dinner. Her kindness, responsiveness, and attention to every detail made a real difference and exceeded all our expectations. We highly recommend this hotel to both individual travelers and groups visiting Traverse City. Thank you for making our stay so memorable—we hope to visit again!

  Overall, this was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Traverse City. We decided to take a last-minute trip, booked a room, and were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming, from the manager and assistant manager to the rest of the team. Their hospitality truly stood out and made us feel right at home. One of the biggest perks was the complimentary shuttle service to and from the festival, which made getting around incredibly easy and stress-free. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Traverse City.

  We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection. One of our favorite touches was the delicious cookies served every day at 6 p.m. It made our stay feel even more welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!
