  Everyone knows I hate leaving negative reviews, but this is one that deserves it. First, the store is open until 11pm and it's 8:15pm. I walk in and go to put in my order for 3 foot longs on Italian white. I'm informed they're out of Italian bread. They said something real fast and I heard something about multi-grain and flat bread. I said fine, just give me 3 multi-grain. They don't have 3. The one guy said "what you see is what you get". I asked "why don't you make more bread?" The one guy (the one with all the excuses) said "we've been making bread all day". Well, obviously not all day I'm thinking in my head. If you don't like making bread, change jobs. My question is, what are you going to do for the next 2 hours and 45 minutes. The sandwich station was filthy, so maybe they could just clean or something. The place was empty, so to say they didn't have time to make bread or clean was obviously not the issue. Now, I've been to this store multiple times and I haven't run into this level of crap service. You could tell neither one of the gentlemen were owners, because they simply didn't care, but to be fair, there was one that didn't care a whole bunch more than the other. I'd suggest going in to order. That way you can pay attention to your food being prepared. Unimpressed.

  I had a very disappointing experience at the Subway in Perry, Iowa. Me and my boyfriend decided to eat dinner. The older man making the sandwich was unfriendly and came across as rude during the entire interaction. On top of that, the younger employees were slamming materials around and yelling, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable and unprofessional. Overall, the customer service was awful and not welcoming at all. I hope management addresses these issues because it really hurt the experience. Lori always does a good job but she wasn’t there.

  I love subway, it’s one of my favorite places to eat so I’m sad to say I will no longer be going to the Perry subway because of the store atmosphere, how the customers and staff are treated poorly, and the poor quality of my subs. I work in town and have heard from co-workers that their subs are often messed up when ordering from there.
