    I accidentally placed an order at this location thinking it was the Rockwood store, which is 5 minutes from my job on Huron River Dr. When I went to pick up my sub from the Rockwood location, the manager informed me that my order was placed at a different store. He told me I could call the other location, explain what happened, and they should refund my money. When I called the New Boston store, the lady I spoke with was rude and disrespectful. She refused to refund my money because they had already made the sub and stated that I should have paid more attention to where I was ordering from. I worked in restaurants for 15 years, and customer service is everything. If someone made a mistake with their order — whether it was the wrong location or the order itself was incorrect — we still did everything possible to appease the customer. We never argued with customers or made them feel bad for an honest mistake. We remade food, gave discounts, and even issued refunds when necessary. Never once did my manager say, “Oh well, we already made the food, so you have to take the loss,” because that would be unprofessional, and the goal was always to keep customers coming back. This location obviously don't know customer service.

    I have not been back in a year, due to my most recent experience here. The owner was on a phone call (on speaker) while she made my sandwich. She also touched her phone with her gloves several times while making my sub. I would not recommend.

    Purchased 4 sandwich trays for mom's funeral. I was disappointed and embarrassed. Each slider sized sandwich only had 1 piece of lunch meat on each one. Yes, I repeat one piece of lunch meat per sandwich. I told the owner a few weeks after the funeral not looking for anything but an apology from them as the trays cost me over $240.00. When the issue was mentioned to the owners they immediately treated me like I was some bum looking to score some free sandwiches. I actually wanted to see how the owners treated their customers. Shame on you Subway New Boston, MI! Shame on you treating a customer that came to you for food to feed their family during that difficult time of losing my mom. SHAME ON YOU SUBWAY! It took me a few years of mulling the thought of posting a review like this. However, ai finally came to a decision so these folks will hopefully learn a lesson. Not everyone is a bum looking for free food! Maybe next time you will apologize to your customer and do something to wrong you're right before passing judgement!!
