My husband stopped to get us dinner tonight (03/03/26). He ordered two subs, two bags of chips, two drinks and cookies. His sub was fine, but mine tasted terrible (it was tuna and there was something wrong with the sub). I’ve had subway before and I’ve never had an issue (I don’t usually go to this store, we normally go to the Apple Ave location) but this was awful. The employee didn’t give my husband a receipt (he just assumed it was in the bag and didn’t check before he left because he didn’t anticipate a problem) so when my husband returned to the store with my sub to prove we weren’t just trying to get free food or something, they didn’t offer any kind of refund or to rectify the situation. I called to see if something could be done, but the man told me that with no receipt he couldn’t help me and that I’d need to call corporate. The staff plain didn’t care that something was wrong with their food. They just took the sub back and said they’d “look into what was wrong with it”. I’m sorry, but I’ve worked in customer service for over ten years and that’s not how you handle a situation like this. I spent over $30 to not even eat my food because I didn’t want to get sick and I have the store on my bank statement to prove we bought it from there. I’m super disappointed in the lack of care from the employees - something was very wrong with that sandwich and they’re going to make someone sick and not give a damn about it.
