Cricket is currently sponsoring AT&T wireless internet.
They shouldn't, I am looking at them sideways now.
AT&T has been a hassle.
It doesn't work for our area. After about a week we decided to call to cancel the service.
The AT&T operator couldn't find our account even though I had all the ID & acc numbers right in front of me.
Oddly, they found our account for the first month's payment and we were charged.
In calling to cancel today, AT&T op, tells me to take the equipment to a UPS store, they will scan it and print a return label there, to ship...(?)...(!)
I explained everything has been carefully packed, in the original packaging and please send me a shipping label so I can return this.
No matter what I said to her she continued repeating the same sentence. Nice lady but very frustrating.
Also, I have a week to return the equipment to avoid a $200 equipment charge.
I am now caught up in the idea that I have to have AT&T speak with the UPS store employee (which I am guessing they will refuse...) to explain the shipping return label process.
Wish me luck- but take this little bit of advice and I wouldn't recommend signing up for AT&T wireless internet.
