I recieved a few coupons, some duplicates, in the mail. Also recently signed up for subclub app. Went last night & the guy made a perfect sandwich! He scanned the coupon & my app, then i did a tap to pay. It was very good.
On contrast I went back today, duplicate of the same coupon in hand, placed the same order, and set it up so theres a gift card balance in my subclub. The woman working had her makeup done all fun with big butterfly art on her eyes, like a face painting, and a very young girl infront of me complimented her for it. This went unacknowledged accept when asked how she did it, she replied, "stickers, i mean just stamps"
I asked her in advance while making my sandwich, could she scan my coupon because there was a small tear possibly affecting the QR code. She got very jumpy and snappy about there are rules about coupons, she cant accept it. Going on to educate me about how franchises work- i literally didnt say anything against her rejecting the coupon & didnt really acknowledge her explanation, like no big deal- I was bummed a little about it, but still feeling good about using the app. We got to the payment and she said to PUT MY PHONE # in where the card reader is because the scanner wasnt working. She also offered me the store coupon which would save me even more than the one i had brought in. So she didnt touch the payment screen on her side, not to activate the scanner for the app and didnt ask my number to lookup my rewards. I was ready to leave and go somewhere else. She then said we'll work it out and gave me everything i wanted for FREE.
Wouldnt have complained but my bread was wet and soggy, the cucumbers tasted fecal, and most of the sandwich was unedible.
I dont understand how within 12-16hrs they go from perfect service to such a horrible one.
I vote brown hair slim guy gets a promotion with a sizable raise - maybe he can train the team there to do better. His sandwich wasnt just better but the presentation of the line and his work space was great! Also that sandwhich was made the best i think ive ever had it.
For reference (white 6", rotisserie chicken, provolone, spinach on while toasting, cucumber, green peppers, onions, and teriyaki dressing)
The girls line- missing things, tasted off, wet bread, very disorganized, sandwiches waiting for pickup not bagged- sitting on back counter.
I dont go out to eat looking for a handout, I want to leave a tip & enjoy something worth while. As a previous subway manager out in a dif city many years ago Ive noticed this location seems to have struggled with consistency+kindness from the employees for a long time.

Using Door Dash, my salad was missing all veg except iceberg lettuce and red onion. When attempting to get the order corrected, was treated dismissively, called a liar, told to calm down, though tone, body language, & volume were polite & low. Rather than correcting the employee, the "district manager" focused her energy on micromanaging my emotions. Even while replacing the order, they made it clear that door dash orders are routinely treated with contempt & no care is taken to ensure they are correct. I don't recommend ordering from them unless you want to be cheated, treated like trash, or have your time wasted.
