  I had trouble replacing a tail light bulb, and Tyler went above and beyond to help. He went outside and looked at our car and made sure we found the correct bulb. Really appreciate the extra effort and excellent customer service.

  Bought a new battery to replace the OEM 12V AGM battery in my 2013 CTS. Chose AAP because they advertised Free Installation. Imagine my surprise when the clerk announced that there are certain vehicles they don't do ... and mine was one of them. Now it took me 35 minutes to do the swap, and most of that was getting the right wrench sizes and finessing the trim panels back into place. (The battery in this car is in the trunk right rear quarter panel.) And another 15 minutes to return the old battery to get my $22 core charge back. AAP - Perhaps you should inform folks you won't do the install when they buy the battery on line instead of waiting until they arrive in the store. Otherwise a good experience.

  I’ll never return to this auto parts store again. The way I was treated for not knowing the correct name of a product was utterly disrespectful. I visited the store this evening around 7:56 PM. There was a Caucasian bald man and a tall African-American man. I asked for brake solution to clean some rust off my brake pads. They both looked at each other, started laughing in my face, and asked, “What?” I said, “Please point me in the right direction. I’ll find it myself.” The African-American man sarcastically replied, “You mean brake cleaner?” My husband arrived shortly after and then we checked out. As I recounted the incident to my husband, despite them witnessing my visible distress and feeling upset and embarrassed about being made to feel bad because I couldn’t recall the correct name of the brake cleaner, neither of them offered an apology. To make someone feel bad about not knowing the proper term of something at a store that they work at is disgusting and very hurtful. If I was an expert at car parts, why would I need their assistance anyway? Instead of laughing at a woman who doesn’t know the proper name of something how about Help as that’s what you are therefore anyway. I will never come back to the store ever again. I don’t care if I have to drive past it to get what I need. I will not be coming back.

  They don’t have the things their website says are in stock and available in store, and the employees absolutely couldn’t care less. I’ll never waste my time coming here again
