Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Manager Conduct and Service Issues
I am writing to bring attention to a concerning experience at your Subway location.
I have been a regular customer, visiting several times a week, but unfortunately my recent experiences have been increasingly inconsistent. Most recently, the situation escalated due to the conduct of the manager, Brittany.
A coworker of mine ordered two sandwiches, and both were made incorrectly—the meats were swapped with the wrong toppings. When she called the store to address the issue, Brittany acknowledged that both sandwich had been made incorrectly. However, she stated that if anything was going to be done, my coworker would need to return immediately. My coworker explained that we were at work and unable to leave, but offered to provide a receipt along with time-stamped photos as proof.
Despite this, Brittany refused to resolve the issue, stating that too many people try to get free food and that she would not remake the order. When my coworker politely requested the owner’s contact information, Brittany responded that the owner would say the same thing, accused her of being rude, and hung up the phone.
After this, I contacted the store myself to identify the manager. Brittany confirmed she was the manager but immediately became hostile during the conversation. When I calmly explained the situation and mentioned that I had been advised to gather her information to file a complaint, she began raising her voice. This was overheard by multiple coworkers in my office. She then told me that we should “find a new Subway” and that we were no longer welcome at that location.
This level of customer service and professionalism is deeply concerning. Not only was there no effort to correct a clear mistake, but the handling of the situation was dismissive, accusatory, and unprofessional.
I am requesting that the owner please reach out directly to discuss this matter further. We would appreciate the opportunity to resolve this issue appropriately.
Thank you for your time and attention.
