The staff member was sitting down in the main eating area and it took him about 3 minutes to notice me after I got there as he was on his phone with airpods in. He did not wash his hands before putting on gloves to make my sandwich, and his line was also not stocked and he had to grab me tomatos, which he could have stocked instead of scrolling on his phone.

I’m completely frustrated and upset with my recent visit at Subway. Before I started I asked him if I could use the online coupon that I had,and he grunted and said yes without looking at it. I was placing my order when 2 guys (friends of his as they were helping themself to fountain beverages). He was slow, spoke very softly and couldn’t remember anything. Meanwhile his friends were standing very close behind me and by my grocery cart. He went to ring up the order and I reminded him of my coupon for 2 footlongs for $13.99. He said my bill was $22 something, again I said I had the coupon. He then scanned the coupon and then said my bill was $19 something. I told him that wasn’t possible and he said that’s what the register said and what I owed. So I said he could keep his sandwiches and started to walk away. His friends immediately started to harass me and say that I owed what it said and I was wasting their time and the employees time. I assured them that I was happy to pay the $13.99 plus tax and they just kept talking and I walked away. Very very frustrating and upsetting.
