I sent an email earlier in the morning with clear instructions for one print, including the size and quantity. I then went to work, expecting the order would be ready for pickup by the time I finished.
When I arrived at FedEx around 1:00 PM, the print had not been completed. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and tried to assist me. However, while he was checking in the back, I could hear a staff member speaking about my order as if I wasn’t present. She stated that she had emailed me asking for my name, phone number, and quantity.
Unfortunately, I was at work and had not yet had a chance to check my email before arriving. That said, all of the necessary information—including my name, quantity, and size—was already provided in my original email. I also heard the gentleman read my email to her, yet she responded that because I hadn’t replied, she did not complete the order and wasn’t sure when she would be able to.
While I truly appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the gentleman assisting me, I found the other employee’s response and tone to be quite unprofessional and disappointing.
