  I stopped by Advance Auto Parts today with my 2015 GMC Terrain, and Chris, the General Manager, provided exceptional service from start to finish. He quickly ran a full diagnostic and battery check to pinpoint the exact issue. Once we confirmed I needed a replacement, he helped me select the right battery, sold it to me at a great price, and installed it on the spot. Having him install it saved me a ton of time and hassle doing it myself. Chris was remarkably fast, extremely pleasant to work with, and very informative throughout the entire process—explaining everything clearly without any pressure. It’s rare to find this level of efficiency and true customer care. I’ll definitely be back for any future auto needs. Highly recommend asking for Chris!

  I really want to give a shout-out to Cortney for her outstanding customer service! So many times I’ve considered buying a steering wheel cover, but I always talked myself out of it because I knew I wouldn’t be able to put it on myself. This time, I stopped by the store to replace my windshield wipers and happened to see a cute steering wheel cover that I couldn’t resist. Cortney first helped me replace my wipers, and then kindly offered to help install the steering wheel cover. It turned out to be really hard, really, really hard! But she never complained, never gave up, and just kept trying. She spent more than 10–15 minutes working on it with patience and determination until she finally got it on. I was so impressed by her willingness to go above and beyond to help a customer. Her kindness made my day. Thank you, Cortney, for your amazing help and excellent service!

  Advance Auto on Grand River in East Lansing is by far the best auto parts store I have ever worked with. My most recent experience with Christopher and his help providing me with advice and offering their tool loan program was outstanding. The staff there has been consistently professional, knowledgeable, and sincerely interested in helping customers.
