  I did not order any food here, but wanted to leave a review. My girlfriend and I hit a deer yesterday (August 2nd) and it rendered my car inoperable. We were given a ride into town by The Auto Doc (great towing company by the way, they were awesome) and dropped off at the Subway in Crystal Falls. We had nowhere to go and were burdened with bags, so we decided to go into the Subway and ask if we could sit inside and wait for my buddy to come pick us up (we live in Houghton). The young gentleman behind the counter was quiet but polite and said yes. However, the other employee on staff said "you can only stay for 30 minutes, 45 max" in a really annoyed and incourteous tone. Mind you it was only about 7:15 and they closed at 9:00. We failed to see how us sitting in the lobby would have been inconvenient for this woman, and felt that their reaction to our request was odd and malicious. Luckily there was a bench outside, where we decided to wait. My complaint is not about a lack of seating, but a lack of basic human decency. I hope that woman does not represent the community of Crystal Falls, and I hope the manager or owner sees this review (and others I read before posting this) and understands that their employee should either change their mindset or maybe find someplace else to work where that kind of behavior might be more acceptable. It would be a cruel twist if this woman was in fact the manager or some time of management, in which case I hope they read this.

  Service was fast for me when I was here, well stocked counter too.

  As good a Subway as you can expect. Clean, with friendly service even late in the day. Take this over the restaurant just west of there any day of the week!
