Visited this location at 9:20 PM, July 2nd, 2026. As I entered the store, I glanced over at the lady (associate) who was adjacent to the cash out area. She turned to look back at me, smirked, and shook her head. It was obvious that she didn't like the inconvenience of me, as a customer, coming in for a sandwich.
This lady knows exactly who I am. I've been to the store numerous times (that's called a loyal repeat customer - do you like those?). I'm courteous and accommodating.
The customer experience I should have had, is this:
Hello sir, I'm busy with an order, but I'll be right with you - thanks for waiting.
What she did was insulting and not welcoming.
Based on the experience, I will never return to any Subway store again.
Ironically, when I stop at Firehouse Subs or Penn Station Subs, I receive a hello, regardless of how busy they are. The customers are always a priority. And, I've been to these stores at different times. So, this indicates that their customer service is consistent.
If your employees don't like serving customers at 9:20 PM, then you should close the store. Or, put up a sign that says:
We are open till 10 PM, but we don't like serving customers.
Sounds stupid, right?
