On 4/19, I ordered a sandwich online to pickup. I waited an extra five minutes before going in to pick it up. When I arrived, there was a very young woman, alone, working. There were three people ahead of me in line. I scanned for my order and did not see it. I waited a bit and the employee was patiently taking an elderly gentlemen's order. When she finished I quickly asked her if my online order was ready, she said "no". I then asked if I could cancel it, and she said "no". The woman in front of me in line then left. Then the employee started making my sandwich. She gave it to me and I left. When I arrived home, I started eating it, my impression was that the bread was stale. I took a bite into my second half, decided I was full and went to wrap it up only to discover a quarter size or more spot of green mold. Now to make a long story even longer comes my saga of getting my refund. I immediately emailed Subway after my calls to the store went unanswered with both the receipt and a picture. I emailed compliance, report it, etc. Was told by compliance to forward it elsewhere, responded by asking, if they could, they did. Over a month later, even with me trying to follow up, I finally received a response asking me if I had the the right store as Angelique Breton spoke with the employee and 'they didn't remember an online order for a flatbread sandwich, nor could the employee recall making one'. I responded with my original email with the receipt and picture and replied yes, this is not rocket science. I never received an acknowledgment or response. Sorry, not sorry, over a month goes by and you question my veracity? I only wanted my money back! I ended up sending the picture and receipt to my credit card company and was issued an immediate refund. Customer service goes a long way. The young woman probably shouldn't have been alone that day in regards to labor laws, not even getting into that here. You have forever lost my business.
And maybe an employee should not be posting reviews of their own business...
