  We weren’t allowed to use the pool even though the sky was clear and no sign of tornado!!! We have been coming here for weeks but 2 of the receptionist weren’t so pleasant. One wasn’t polite. One refused for us to use the pool even though it was sunny, she refused for us to talk to the manager to open the pool. It was so ridiculous!!!!!! We never coming back. It’s so stupid to be treated like that!!!

  We just had our second stay here. Staff couldn't be any nicer, especially the gentleman on third shift. The entire place is clean and pleasant. The rooms are clean and well appointed, although this time our room felt dampish. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and blankets and sheets felt nice. My only complaint is the toilet this time. It was entirely too low, like a child's toilet in a store. If we stay again and that happens, I'm asking for a different room because it was just too difficult to use.

  My wife and I grew up in this town and moved away several years ago. We were back to visit with family and friends and stayed here for a week total in early August 2026. The hotel is fine, Westminster does not have a lot of options for staying in town. The Days Inn and the Boston Inn are horrific options. We normally stay in Gettysburg or Owings Mills to find decent accommodations. We thought we would give this Best Western a try. I will say, it was a very reasonable option and we ended up finding it a very good option for future visits. It is a very basic hotel with sufficient amenities, a great location for Westminster activities of course. The hotel is close to a LOT of options for food & groceries within very short walking distance. Room was clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. My only suggestions would be that the side parking lots need much better lighting at night as they felt quite dark and there were some young folks wandering around at times. They have a very nice pool area. They also could use another seating area outside which is not within the pool fence. We wanted to sit out one evening but they had locked the pool area so there was no other place to sit outside and enjoy the nice views of the area from the hill this hotel sits on. We ended up back in our room. I would still definitely recommend this as a very viable option for your stay in the area.

  Misleading hotel listings. Beds are listed as doubles, which are supposed to be the size of full beds. The beds are actually roughly the size of twin XL beds. We measured. About a foot smaller than they should be. The pillows are half sized to make the beds look bigger than the actually are in pictures. They are well aware of this issue as staff readily admit people complain about this all the time. There is nothing about this hotel that makes up for them lying about the bed sizes. Everything you get here can be found at a hotel that actually has normal size beds. Other small things of note: Some towels were stained. Floor wasn't clean. No hand soap when we checked it. Wifi doesn't stay connected or connect to all devices. Edit for clarity after the owner response: The beds are advertised as bigger than they actually are. The beds are a foot or so smaller than they are supposed to be. The beds are the size of Twin XL beds. It is not a full bed at all.

  Convenient and clean. One downside is there's no fitness center. I will say water pressure is low in the rooms, at least on the second floor. And in the summer, if you have a pool facing room, it is likely to be loud in the afternoons. Breakfast is basic but appropriate and staff are considerate and competent. We often find ourselves here after a major storm and power outage, and I am very grateful to have them as an option. Close to Westminster's many restaurants and College Square shopping center too.
