  I purchased my auto insurance through this Allstate agency and informed the agent that my daughter was a full-time college student. At no time when I purchased my policy or during any renewal was I told that she needed to be listed as a driver. My claim was later denied because my daughter was not listed on the policy. After the denial, I contacted the agency. I was present for a conversation between the agency and the claims adjuster in which the agency stated that I had not been advised to add my daughter to the policy. Later, another Allstate representative told me the agency was now saying that I had been told to add her. That is false. I was never told that my daughter needed to be listed. Had I been told, I would have added her immediately. Instead of accepting responsibility for failing to communicate this requirement, the agency changed its account after my claim was denied. Customers rely on their insurance agent to provide accurate information about coverage requirements. My experience with this agency has been extremely disappointing.
