This Subway in Havre de Grace, Maryland is consistently frustrating. There is only one worker scheduled almost every day, and it makes absolutely no sense for a place that gets this much traffic. The lines get insanely long, especially during normal lunch and dinner hours. You can easily be standing there for a very long time just waiting to order.
What makes it worse is how they handle online orders. Instead of preparing online orders in a reasonable flow, they ignore them and focus only on the people physically standing in the restaurant. That completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. If someone takes the time to place and pay for an order online, it should be respected and prepared in a timely manner.
This is not an issue with the employee personally — it is clearly a staffing problem. One person cannot manage walk-in customers, online orders, and everything else at the same time. The management needs to address this. Until they staff properly, expect long waits and a very frustrating experience.
