Yesterday, my mom and I visited the Subway on Addison Road, intending to enjoy a meal. The experience began normally—asking for bread and choosing our sandwiches. However, at the register, our total should have been around $8, but the cashier charged us $20. After we pointed out the error, he consulted a coworker, who corrected the price back to $8. Then, when we asked for the price of a soda à la carte, he said it was $5 each, essentially trying to bring us back to the inflated $20. When we raised the concern, both staff members were dismissive, rude, and indifferent to us as customers. This was extremely disheartening, especially as a loyal 20-year Subway customer. I hope this gets addressed.
