I was originally assigned this agent by Allstate when I moved from Raleigh to Baltimore. I have been with Allstate for 20+ years, and I have never encountered a more unprofessional office. It started with Brenda being curt during our email exchanges about changing my policy from state to state and getting proof of my rental policy for my leasing office, and when my auto policy rate skyrocketed, she was of no help. I had to call the 800 line, which immediately helped me lower my policy. At that point, I asked to change my agent from this office due to the horrible customer service. After selecting the new agent, completing the change order, and my new agent submitting it, Allstate corporate requested that the change request also be sent from Perry Kurz's office. It seemed simple enough. I sent an email to Brenda with the request, and within hours, I received a call from Mr. Kurtz, screaming on the line (I had him on speaker, so my daughter also heard it with a shocked face), telling me it needed to be done by the new agent. He would not allow me to explain what had taken place and started screaming, “I’ve been doing this for 20 years!” At that point, I hung up. I cannot say enough about how unprofessional this office is to new customers. More importantly, they lack empathy and decorum. In my opinion, based on my 20+ years with Allstate, they do not represent the company or the experience one should have with their agents.
