I had an 11 o’clock appointment and showed up 7 mins early looking to escape bad weather in Boston. It was apparently too much of an inconvenience for the staff whose security guard yelled through the glass door very rudely they don’t open until 11am. A simple hello and offer to take a seat and wait would have been expected from a luxury brand. I’ll spend my money with a brand that appreciates their clients and understands the value of the experience.

I went into the boutique to buy a replacement band for my husbands IWC watch. After waiting for a very long time, the sales person gave me a song and dance that the band that I wanted wasn't available in any boutiques and possibly not available anywhere for purchase. She told me she would call me if she could find it but it wasn't likely. After a week with no phone call, I called the IWC customer service phone number and spoke to the most helpful woman. I had the band in my hands in less than 24 hours. The clerk in the Boston store clearly wasn't interested in helping me because I was only purchasing a band. Will take my business elsewhere.
We had a fantastic experience with Sully in the boutique. He was extremely hospitable and introduced my partner and me to IWC's various collections.
The experience with Sully definitely made two new IWC fans, and my partner is actually looking at the website for her favourites right now! Sully also gave us a small gift for Chinese New Year, which will actually be very useful and used in an upcoming wedding

Excellent customer experience with Brad. He took the time to answer our questions about my timepiece's service and its history. Quiet, comfortable, un-rushed experience.
Tried to walk in right at opening, and the woman in the window basically shooed us off like peasants and we weren’t worthy to enter their store. I’ll happily take my money elsewhere!
