Automotive company that can't order or doesn't have any stock of u clips. Employee was eating food on counter at checkout, must have been high cuz he couldn't process what I asking.
The young man (Jordan I believe)that was asked to place my new wiper blades on was great. He wasn’t sure about 1 thing so he went back in the store to clarify. Seems like a good kid. Thank you

Recently, I went in for a pick up in store order. No issue. However, I came in a week later to return the items with proof of purchase. Seemed easy enough. When I returned home, I received an email from Advanced Auto Parts, claiming I would be issued store credit in the form of a gift card. That made absolutely no sense, the parts in their original packaging, receipt present, and I had returned to the exact store I had purchased from. A week in time between my purchase and return.
I decided to call the store and see if they could resolve it. I spoke with an older gentleman, he was not too sure what to do, so he transferred me to who I believe is a supervisor, a lady with red hair. I re-explain the situation, calm at first. However, she starts speaking to me as if I am a complete moron. By this, I mean she started speaking to me so slowly and doing long pauses. I was so upset and even said how the associate who had conducted my return mentioned my refund would be issued back to my original payment method (my credit card). Again, she treated me as a moron and said I would have to contact corporate and resolve it on my own as it's on me and not them. Even though they were the ones who completed the refund.
I obviously contacted corporate and resolved the matter. They were not sure what had occurred either. My issue is how the red-haired supervisor treated me. If you need a purchase and do not plan on returning it, sure you can go to their store, but beware if you encounter an issue or even have to do a refund. However, this is a chain place, go to one of their other locations. Do not voluntarily deal with them. Also, right before me, they were arguing with another customer over a refund. Seems that refunds are not their specialty.

Store is close and convenient for me. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and also clean. There are many auto parts stores around me and I stop here for the ease of store set and good staff!

I stopped into Advance Auto Parts trying to sort out an issue with an aftermarket headlamp and turn signal bulbs on my 2013 Highlander, and the staff went above and beyond to help. Instead of just pointing me to the aisle, they took the time to look at the housing, compare bulb types, and help me test fit options to make sure everything seated correctly and functioned the way it should.
They were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in solving the problem rather than rushing the interaction. Automotive lighting can be surprisingly confusing with all the cross-references and fitment differences, but they helped narrow it down and get me back on the road safely.
Great customer service, helpful staff, and a willingness to troubleshoot. Exactly what you hope for when walking into a parts store.
