I visited this Wingstop location with my mother today, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience.
Our fries were cold, the wings were only partially warm, and the fried corn was cooked so hard that it was difficult to eat. When we brought the food back because it wasn’t hot and fresh, the employee responsible for preparing the orders responded with a very rude attitude instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally.
She spoke loudly and said, “All that food isn’t cold,” as if she knew what we were experiencing. The problem is that she wasn’t the one eating the meal. As paying customers, we simply expected hot, fresh food and respectful customer service.
The only bright spot during our visit was the excellent customer service from the cashiers, Ms. Regan and the gentleman working alongside her during the 3:59 p.m. shift. They remained polite and professional throughout the situation, and I truly appreciate them.
Because of the poor food quality and the disrespectful behavior we experienced, my mother and I requested and received a full refund of $53.12. We decided to leave and eat elsewhere.
I hope management provides additional customer service training for the employee who handled our order. Customers should never be made to feel disrespected for politely requesting that their food be served hot. Respect and professionalism go a long way, and experiences like this are why customers choose to request refunds and take their business elsewhere.
